Type One Diabetes, is a stressful, complicated disease. It is caused by the bodies immune system attacking itself, people have this disease through no fault of their own.
4 or more injections are needed daily in order for type ones to survive. As well as constant blood tests.

When a child is diagnosed, it is extremely difficult for a caregiver or parent to manage their Diabeties, due to them not knowing what their blood sugar levels are and will have to do more blood tests on that child than normal. A Constant Glucose Monitor, such as the Dexcom would make the child's quality of life so much better. A parent can also have some more reassurance that their child is not suffering from hypoglycaemia or hyperglycaemia.
Type one diabetes can kill. We need this!
