Rejected petition Make Sharia Law Courts illegal in the UK under article 39 of the Magna Carta.

Sharia Law and law courts can not legally exist in the United Kingdom under article 39 of the Magna Carta. Article 39, which is still law to this day, clearly states that we must abide by THE LAW OF THE LAND. This means that no other laws are applicable in the UK by any other group or religion.

(39) No free man shall be seized or imprisoned, or stripped of his rights or possessions, or outlawed or exiled, or deprived of his standing in any way, nor will we proceed with force against him, or send others to do so, except by the lawful judgment of his equals or by the law of the land.
