Rejected petition To Try and Push Darlington council. Into giving us a bus station.

Do to the tragic incident. On the 7th July 2016. Where a life was lost in Darlington. Because of a bus I am creating this petition. To get a bus station built in Darlington.

Pedestrian Eileen Brennan was killed when the vehicle hit a branch of Halifax bank in Darlington's Northgate on Thursday.

The 82-year-old has been described as a "beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother".

The bus driver, a 52-year-old man, was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and bailed.

Veering off the road, the vehicle hit a pillar near the bank's entrance at about 11:00 BST, Durham Police said.
