Rejected petition Reduce the price that a UK Football Club can charge for a Football Kit.
The price of football kits has risen steadily over the last 20 years and they are now at a level which is massively inflated from the actual cost to make and ship the kit.
The average shirt costs £4.79 to produce and ship, yet they sell for around £50+. This is for home, away and 3rd kits.
More details
There are various newspaper reports that show how much the kits take to produce and 2 of them show the actual cost can be as little as £4.

Families are worst hit and parents may have to shell out over £150 kit to get a child a new home, away and 3rd kit which then change annually.
