Rejected petition Open Gender Neutral Bathrooms across Stoke on Trent
We think it is really important that Gender Neutral toilets should be introduced everywhere, starting with Stoke on Trent. Our group is called Our A-Gender, look us up on all social media. By doing this we hope to spread awareness of the injustices the LGBT+ community endure.

Why was this petition rejected?
It’s about something that the UK Government or Parliament is not directly responsible for.
We can't accept your petition because the UK Government and Parliament aren't responsible for the issue you raise. Public toilets are the responsibility of local councils.
Stoke-on-Trent City council has a petitions process - you can find out more about it here:
http://www.moderngov.stoke.gov.uk/mgepetitionlistdisplay.aspx
You could start a new petition calling on Parliament to change the law, to place a legal duty on all councils to provide gender neutral public toilets.
We only reject petitions that don’t meet the petition standards.
