Petition Let's debate a restructuring of the global economic structure.

I would like to see a Commons debate about the possibilities of removing the focus of our global economic systems away from 'growth'.

This is not intended to create new legislature rather than to spark a global debate.

Economic growth is the top point of focus for all Governments now to keep our systems 'stable' but no-one talks about the fact that 'growth' means an increased and accelerating use of the worlds resources which will destroy the biosphere that all life on Earth depends upon. What is the point of growth now when it clearly can not go on indefinitely. Now is the time to look into ways we can change our economic goals.
