Rejected petition To appoint Michael Mansfield QC as new Chair of Inquiry into child sexual abuse.

Due to the sudden resignation of Lowell Goddard as chair of this important Inquiry into historical child serial abuse another credible Chairperson is needed. Michael Mansfield is the preferred person to do this onerous task who has credibility with the victims, their families and organisations.

Michael Mansfield QC undoubtedly has the qualifications, experience and credibility with the public and victims to carry out this role and to achieve acceptable outcomes for all in a reasonable time period.
