Important:

This petition was submitted during the 2015-2017 parliament

Rejected petition Enforce 'No dog's allowed' park areas making this safer for our children.

Parks and play areas in and around Havering becoming more susceptible to Dog owners abusing 'No Dog' areas. Increased level of dogs off leads & dog's mess around areas where children should be able to play safely and securely without being exposed to a potentially dangerous risk to their health.

More details

I believe that there should be 'Dog Free' parks or designated areas within parks designed purely for families allowing children to play freely at minimal risk, there should be more presence with park wardens patrolling and being able to enforce heavier on the spot fines for owners allowing their dogs free from leads and fouling.
