Rejected petition Stop PIP/DLA/ESA assessments being performed by private companies

Currently, private firms such as ATOS are doing assessments for Personal Independence Payments (PIP), Disability Living Allowance (DLA, PIP has replaced) and ESA (Employment and Support Allowance, sickness benefit). This leads to a heavily-biased system in which people are not being assessed fairly.

In our opinion, the DWP (Department of Work and Pensions) should be doing these assessments to rid the system of any sort of "quotas" or bonuses for the staff based on how many people are given benefits.
