i think that the speed limits should be reviewed considering the were introduced in 1965.

i imagine for example, my lotus can stop quicker than a car made in 1965. cars in general are more better built and have better brakes therefore replace 30 with 50 apart from in residential and school areas.

also motorways should be like germany where there are unrestricted parts and we should abolish the variable speed zones.

more technological cars demand better and faster speed limits than the slower non technological cars of the 60's.
