Petition Re-think of Gay Blood Donations

The recent lift of the ban on gay blood donation does not go far enough.

It actively alienates every single person who is in a committed gay relationship or who is sexually active but using the correct precautions.

Local GUM clinics can detect HIV/AIDS within a 6 week window period; so why make those who want to donate wait a year?!

I am calling on the government to re-think this stupid action and just lift the ban completely with "no strings attached".

Its about saving lives and not discrimination.
