Rejected petition Ensure there are adequate services for children diagnosed with Autism.
My daughter, age 9 was recently diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Here in Exeter, the team that diagnose do not offer any interventions. We have been given a diagnosis and offered no help whatsoever.
More details
We are not alone, across the country, children are being diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder and they and their families are being left with a diagnosis and no help whatsoever. Adults with diagnosis also are being left with no help.
Evidence suggests early diagnosis and intervention in the lives of children with ASD can make a significant difference. Our children our being let down!
