Petition Give legal rights to Aunties and Uncles

Recently my niece was taken into care but there was nothing I could do to stop that from happening because I'm just an auntie. I tried to contact the Solicitors for legal aid, but because I was just an auntie, I was told I have no rights to appeal or apply for custody. I want this changed.
