Petition Increased protection for beneficiaries under Mirror Wills following first death.

My father and stepmother prepared Mirror Wills whereby the estate first passed to the surviving spouse and then to my stepbrother and myself in equal shares. After my father died my stepmother changed her Will and left everything to her own family. I lost my family inheritance of approx £150,000

I would like the following changes. (1) A formal warning to be included in all Mirror Wills that your final wishes may not be respected should you die first. (2) A new legal requirement than any beneficiary under a Mirror Will subsequently disinherited must receive formal written notice for it to have effect.
My story has been featured in the National Press, television and radio and is included in the current television series of the BBC production "Rip Off Britain"
