The Daily Mail have reported today that "The Treasury’s proposed rules could come into force next April and would effectively kill off tax benefits worth thousands of pounds a year for company car drivers. Under the plans, workers would be taxed . . ."

Salary sacrifice schemes are the only way some people would ever be able to drive a nice car - you see far fewer "old bangers" on the road nowadays. These schemes must be hugely beneficial to car manufacturers and all associated industries.
