Only the biological fathers name is currently permitted on a marriage certificate.

That's extremely unfair to the step-father's that do a better job and are more deserving of the title. With proof of a marriage certificate, we should be able to record the step-father's name on the form.
Step-fathers were previously permitted to be named, however that rule changed in February.
