When visitors come to our country on visas, they should be photographed and finger printed at the point of entry.
If stopped at a future date and finger printed by the authorities and found to have over stayed their time and have have destroyed or mislaid their passport, making it inpossible to deport them, then the imigration department can be contacted where the information is stored on their data base and identification could be established and the country of their origin and then they can be deported.
