Petition Enable Police and Telephone services to trace and prosecute cold callers.

Cold calling is supposed to be illegal, TPS is not a deterrent, so the Police, trading Standards and Telephone service providers should be compelled to cooperate to trace, arrest, and prosecute offenders. A help line should be created for reporting offending numbers.

In this digital world, it should be possible to trace who purchased any number. Citizens can bar withheld numbers to prevent some calls, but there is a problem with normal numbers. These must be held on record by service providers. They must be traceable to a specific location.
