If you ride a bicycle, you should wear a cycle helmet, it's common sense.
Sadly so many children ride on the road without one.
Many serious accidents that occur would be less serious if the child was wearing a cycle helmet.
Cycle helmets are not expensive but they save lives.

Government figures show 16,727 children under the age of 16 were injured on the roads in 2014, a rise of 6.2 per cent compared to the 15,756 injured in 2013.
