Rejected petition Allow the Police more powers to investigate local government corruption

Following some ongoing development plans for some of my city's parks its been rumored that lead Councillors have business and family links with the developer. This strikes me as a conflict of interest, bordering on corruption, i'd like the police to have more scope to investigate further.
