Rejected petition Free travel for all children aged 11 to 15 on buses just like Londoners get.

In London currently 11 to 15 year olds can travel free on buses and trams and travel at child or half adult rate on all other TfL services and most National Rail services in London. If this was offered nationally parents would encourage children to use the bus & this would reduce pollution.

Local bus operators are responsible for setting child fares, not the UK Government. You could start a new petition asking Parliament to change the law to require bus companies to offer free national bus travel for children.
