My little boy was repeatedly failed by numerous of consultants, doctors and hospitals after being diagnosed with Vein of Galen malformation. This was purely due to the lack of knowledge and understanding of the condition. We're counting our lucky stars he finally got treatment before it was too late

This condition is deadly. A ticking time bomb in your head. It's diagnosed in pregnancy and is where a mass forms in the brain putting strain on the heart to provide this mass with more blood. So many children die because either because it's too late to treat them or because of complications.
This needs to stop!
I nearly lost my little boy and I won't sit and watch it happen to any other parent.
Money needs to be invested in helping doctors diagnose and treat children before it's too late.
