Currently the sentences for slavery, sex trafficking and bonded labor are desultory. Sex traffickers get as little as six months in prison. There should be a minimum guideline sentencing figure of at least 10 years for sex traffickers and bonded labor as to illegally deprive a person of their liberty through coercion and force, over any period of time is a crime not just against an individual, but also against society.
