Important:

This petition was submitted during the 2015-2017 parliament

Rejected petition I feel that the department for education should incorporate lessons on bullying.

Children are taking their own lives because we are not doing enough to educate them on the negative factors and effects of bullying. We also need to educate the bullies that it is wrong to bully others and will not be accepted. There should also be more support to find out why the person is bullying

This petition was rejected

Why was this petition rejected?

It’s not clear what the petition is asking the UK Government or Parliament to do.

The Department of Education already issue guidance to school about how to tackle and prevent bullying https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/preventing-and-tackling-bullying

However if you feel this is insufficient could start a new petition asking that information about bullying be taught as part of the national curriculum.

We only reject petitions that don’t meet the petition standards.
