Children deserve to be protected by a system that is not privately controlled and therefore accountable to shareholders. Children's Protective Services must remain within Local Authority control as a Statutory Duty to protect children from avoidable harm.

Privitisation may allow confused prioritIes for providers that could lead to vulnerable children being abused.

We all have a duty to safeguard children which is a public necessity not a private and financial one.
