The government sent out a £9,000,000 leaflet of Remain propoganda; the groups descended from the failed remain campaign should compensate the taxpayer for this absurd expense, especially now that the leaflets claims have been shown to be false.

It’s not clear what the petition is asking the UK Government or Parliament to do.

The leaflet was distributed by the UK Government, not by the official Remain campaign. The cost of compensating taxpayers as the petition suggests would be therefore borne by the taxpayer, so it is not clear how taxpayers could be reimbursed in this way.
