Rejected petition Include cats in the list of animals you have to report if in a car accident

The current Road Traffic Act 1988, states that's only the following animals are to be reported if involved in an accident; horse, cattle, ass, mule, sheep, pig, goat or dog.
Like these animals, the majority of cats also have owners who would deserve to know if their pet was involved in an accident
