Rejected petition Change the law on what can be done to help premature babies in Northern Ireland

I am looking the law changed so that doctors will intervene and give preterm babies a chance to live as they refuse to give as little as ventilation to babies before 24 weeks as in their opinion most babies will not survive that early.

More details

One in four babies in Northern Ireland at just 22 weeks can now survive if they are given active treatment such as ventilation.
If a preterm baby is born with a strong heartbeat and is breathing on their own then they should be given the chance to live.
It is only legal to have a abortion in Northern Ireland if the mother meets a certain criteria - a serious and long term risk to mental or physical health.

CHANCE OF SURVIVAL
21 weeks and less 0%
22 weeks 0-10%
23 weeks 10-35%
24 weeks 40-70%
