Housing Associations are currently recognised as institutions that have charitable purposes but are not registered with the Charity Commission so there is no proper oversight to check that they act as charities and forefill that function.

We believe as these organisations are such important institutions, dealing with billions of Pounds of taxpayers money and housing millions of people, they should be fully incorporated under the Charity Commission's control with a well defined Governing Document fully describing their charitable purpose..
