Rejected petition Act to Restrict Advertising of Calandered Events to 4 weeks Prior to the Event
More details
Too often we are plaugued with adverts for Christmas and Easter and November the 5th etc months before the event.
I petition the government to legislate to prevent the advertising in stores, on television and radio and the internet of well known and accepted events prior to four weeks before the even takes place.
This will prevent, for example, Christmas Decorations being put in stores several months before Christmas and making stores wait until late November to put the decorations up.
I fine of significant financial disadvance to be levied against all violations.
