We want the abolition of the Government's e-petition system. It encourages nonsensical, impractical and downright crazy ideas and gives the impression that they have public support - and is a waste of both taxpayer's money and MPs' time. We do not need MPs devoting time in parliament to the views of 100,000 hardline extremists or joke petitions.
