The government preferred to produce a brief for an athletics only stadium which would be largely disassembled after the games with the lower tier remaining in place as a permanent athletics facility to replace the Crystal Palace National Sports Centre. Why was this petition rejected?
It’s not clear what the petition is asking the UK Government or Parliament to do.
The petition seems to call on taxpayers, not the Government or Parliament, to take action.
You could start a new petition calling on the Government not to spend any further public money on the stadium.
We only reject petitions that don’t meet the petition standards.
