Rejected petition Free inhalers for asthma sufferers

My son is asthmatic and this is a condition that he was born with,so if he was born with diabetes his prescriptions would be free (this in no way meant to upset diabetics deserve free prescriptions) I know we can pay yearly charges but why should he.

Just getting a cold landed him in emergency hospital admission with nebulisers,steroid injections, antibiotics and inhalers.
My son has difficult asthma and is under the glenfeid hospital in Leicester who may I add are brilliant.
I can imagine some people not having an inhaler because they cannot afford the charge, Which causes more admissions and strain to all our hospitals.
I actually do not want to think about the amount of people who sadly actually have lost there lives to this.
