Rejected petition Article 50 must be triggered. Brexit means Brexit!

54% of the people voted to leave the EU. This is a massive percentage. Most governments in this country come into power with a great deal less than that. Only a small number of powerful people want to stay on the gravy train of the EU. Europe is damaging for Britain.

Tony Blair's incredibly damaging Labour government came into power with less than 30% of the votes, thanks to our 'first past the post' system with lots of constituencies. The vote to leave Europe wasn't like that. It was a straight vote, each person's vote counting equally - actually TRUE DEMOCRACY at work. Therefore, the result means a great deal more than our Elections ever do.
