Petition Make it Law for drivers involved in a accident to report to police at the scene

Drivers are able to leave the scene of an accident and be within the law to report it within 24 hours, therefore police are unable to take correct alcohol and drug samples, giving a possible lighter sentence.

Ben regan was killed by a driver who failed to stop and drove home and hid the car, and called the police 10 hours after, to plead not guilty to a careless driving charge due to lack of evidence. Family's are being put through hell because of this loophole. It must be stopped.
