Petition Change the way child maintenance payments are assessed and calculated.
Currently the child maintenance system is calculated on a percentage based on what the paying parent earns.

More details
parents should contribute to what it costs to raise a child and not a percentage of their wage. Many find ways to avoid paying child maintenace due to the current calculation. Many receiving abuse the system and spend the income on other stuff other than the child. There should be a national avg amount calculated of what it costs to bring up a child and this amount should be split equally between the parents minus any child benefits the mother received and should be based on the age of the child.
