As a STEM Educator and STEM Charity Owner, a important issue has come to light, that a lot of 'Hands-on' STEM skills have been stripped from young people's STEM education, leading to a large skill short-fall when student's carry on studying STEM subjects at university.

Information about this subject has been collected and analysed by volunteers at GlamSci (www.GlamSci.org) whom are a non-profit STEM educational charity concerned with young people's education and rights to STEM subjects. This view is backed by current educational figures gathered by STEM governing bodies, universities and other educational organisations.
