All adult females should have the default title of 'Mrs' in the same way adult males have the default title of 'Mr'. A woman's title should not be determined by her marital status, but instead by her transition into adulthood.

As an adult, a woman's title varies depending on her marital status in a way that a man's does not. Varying values and assumptions are attached to these titles in such a way as to label women in a discriminatory manner. It is unnecessary.
