If an issue such as Human Rights Reform or EU referendums get a substantial public support to respect the will of the electorate rather than party policy in respect of these issues.
Nick Clegg has indicated such as Europe that he will ignore the wish of the electorate and block any referendum or reforms. MPs are supposed to serve the electorate and and yet he he is willing to ignore/overide the wishes of the UK electorate.
