Rejected petition Make the Royal Family Pay for the Renovation of Buckingham Palace

The government should either withdraw proposals to spend £370m
on renovating Buckingham Palace and force the Royal Family to pay for it themselves, or on completion of the works force the Queen to open up the palace all year round to fee paying tourists in order to recoup the money.

Now we are being told that the government has found £370m down the back of the sofa to renovate Buckingham Palace.
