Inset days or teacher training days should take place in school holidays. The average family has to take 6 days holiday or arrange child care to cover for this the cost to the economy will be vast. The cost to families will be more than 1 weeks holiday or unpaid leave that could be used to create a better family unit and better time together in the holidays.
Teachers are paid all year so should work like the rest of the nation, all year.
