Petition Ban all-metal manhole covers on roads

Having ridden motorcycles for a number or years, I have had many encounters with slippery manhole covers on roads, especially while cornering. The change in surface grip leads to the wheels of the vehicle slipping, potentially causing serious consequences.

There are two practical solutions; either replace the manhole covers with a non-metallic material or coating existing covers with a higher grip material.
