To stop various pressure groups. non governmental organisations and businesses influencing the democratic process to get their own policies in place by not allowing lobbying of parties and politicians.
Similar to cash for questions in the mid 90's, groups are now undermining democracy to get there own agenda in Parliament. Do politicians represent the the people or a pressure group?
