Rejected petition Make Asthma treatments free of charge.

I would like to make asthma treatments/sprays free of charge. As we all know prescriptions are not cheap, & I don't mind paying my fair share ect.. but I don't understand why asthma treatments are not free when they are a must have to help people breathe correctly and prevent serious asthma attacks.

Epileptics get there treatments free.. so why shouldn't asthmatics?? I believe that these treatments are life saving and extremely helpful to a lot of people's healths, in which case I think by rights we should be entitled to free asthma treatments!
