Petition Make Universal Credit an optional benefit.

Many people will find they get less under Universal Credit than they would have done under one of the previous benefits that it replaces. While Universal Credit has a transfer top up amount up amount this will not do anything to help new claimants out in the future.

Therefor it would be reasonable to request that the government does NOT make Universal Credit the only option by allowing people to choose either Universal Credit or the benefits that apply to them out of the 6 benefits that Universal Credit replaces.
