I can understand having second, even third homes but the property market is out of control and will continue to be so given the economic environment we live in. The damage here is to social mobility, community, growing inequality and to people who are low-medium skilled.

I see no appropriate or logical reason to own multiple (I.e more than 3). There is no justifiable reason that I can see.

Business will get around this so there will need to be incredibly tight restrictions on commercial properties and a rigorous approach to those looking to bypass the law.
