Rupert Murdoch’s 21st Century Fox has formally lodged its £11.7bn bid to take full control of Sky. This will give him control of Sky as well as (Sunday) Times, The Sun and Pay-TV operations in the UK, Germany and Italy. This threatens the plurality of our media and raises public interest concerns.
