In August 1947 the ' Asturius ' held the first batch of many children to be despatched from Britain to Australia, they were filled with lies about their families and told that they were orphaned by the Attlee Govt initially. In June 1948, 394 Jamaicans were permitted to disembark at Tilbury and offered the country of those sad kids.......I view that as an insult and racist and should be publicly announced by the Govt as being such !
