Important:

This petition was submitted during the 2015-2017 parliament

Rejected petition changing places toilets in all new public buildings and shopping centres.

I have two children with complex medical and physical needs also wheelchair users. They are unable to use normal disabled toilets as they need to be lifted out and changed on dirty floors which is not dignified for them and damages my back!

More details

There are lots of campaigns around this issue but nobody is listening so if it was made law they would!

This petition was rejected

Why was this petition rejected?

It’s not clear what the petition is asking the UK Government or Parliament to do.

You could start a new petition calling on Parliament to change the law, to require all new public buildings and shopping centres to have appropriate changing facilities for disabled children.

We only reject petitions that don’t meet the petition standards.
