Rejected petition Anyone under the age of 18 should be classed as a child for public transport

As it is compulsory that you stay in education till the age of 18, you should still have to pay a child price for any transport tickets. They almost double in price from going to a child to an adult, and some will struggle to afford the price of an adult if they do not work.
